How about a new villain and a dash of It's a Wonderful Life to spice up the third installment of the popular Tim Allen holiday franchise? Under the onslaught of another Christmas season, Santa Claus/Scott Calvin (Allen) is feeling even more pressure because Mrs. Claus (Elizabeth Mitchell, reprising her role from The Santa Clause 2) is expecting a little Claus and also longing for the company of some "tall people." So Scott agrees to let her parents (Ann-Margret and Alan Arkin) visit as long as they believe that they're really in Canada rather than at the North Pole. Further complicating matters is a visit by Scott's ex-wife (Wendy Crewson), her husband (Judge Reinhold), and their daughter, Lucy (Liliana Mumy). Enter the bad boy of the Council of Legendary Figures, Jack Frost (Martin Short), who's supremely jealous of the figures who have their own holidays, especially Santa. So he launches a plan to sabotage the toy factory and compel Scott to invoke the little-known Escape Clause and wish he'd never become Santa. The resulting evocation of a classic Christmas movie, It's a Wonderful Life, is seasoned with a splash of Back to the Future when Scott rewinds 12 years (has it really been that long?) to when it all began. Priceless (Ena M. Burnette, 2008-12-12)

I purchased this for my 2 1/2 year old son who loves Santa Claus. He will seriously watch this movie over and over again. This is one of only 5 movies he will actually sit down and watch. He is learning about Father Time, the Easter Bunny, etc. He loves it, it makes him happy so therefore I am happy.

Claus Vs. Frost...Place Your Bets!!! (Jigsaw, Kentucky, 2008-12-11)

I don't like this one as well as the other two, but it's not horrible. I like how they go back in time to the original to try to stop each other from putting on Santa's suit. It reminded me of 'Back to the Future' Scott/Santa is having a tough year because his wife is pregnant, his in-laws are visiting, and Jack Frost is causing trouble at the North Pole. When Frost becomes Santa in the past, Scott has to stop him in the future. (It's kinda difficult to explain.) If you like the other ones, you may like THE SANTA CLAUSE 3: THE ESCAPE CLAUSE!!!

One of the worst movies ever (R. Drew, Morristown, NJ USA, 2008-11-23)

I picked this movie up hoping it would get my girlfriend and I in the holiday spirit. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown. What an absolutely disgusting portrayal of Santa Clause. I do not recommend this movie for children or for anyone else for that matter, as it missing all the things that make a good Christmas movie. I can't believe some of the gushing reviews. I expected a lot more based on the cast but I guess it's all about the script. Can't fault the actors for that. I shut this movie off after 10mins. No Christmas magic here folks. Stick with the classics.

Gets Better Each Time (Christmas Movie Buff, 2008-11-22)

I loved this episode of the Santa Clause movie. I think each one gets better and this one is my favorite. Jack Frost up to his usual schemes puts a real spin on Christmas this year. Purchase the 3 pack it is a better deal and will save you about $10.00 more then getting them in singles.

I own all 3 Santa Clause's, and I think there all great! All are funny and bring the Christmas spirit to your house. First one is the best, but I think the 2 sequels are great as well.
